A month before Ontario's MPPs return to Queen's Park for the fall session, the Canadian Generic Pharmaceutical Association (CGPA) is lobbying the provincial government on drug regulations.

The registration is focused on the Ontario Drug Benefit Act and Drug Interchangeability and Dispensing Fee Act, in addition to ensuring that provincial regulations allow for a healthy and affordable generic pharmaceutical industry.

The organization is also advocating for a more stable, predictable business environment for research and development, as well as manufacturing of generic pharmaceutical products.
