A slower week of lobbying has Healthcare registrations out in front with 11 per cent of total registrations
The Ontario Home Care Association was registered by Amy Boddington and Jonathan Rose, both consultants with Policy Concepts Inc. The primary focus of their registration was to provide input into proposed regulations for the Connecting Care Act 2019 on ways to better support the home care system. Additionally, they also sought increased levels of home care funding to ensure adequate home care services in Ontario as well as a review of home care policies. The intention of the policy review was to advise on ways to utilize the home care sector as part of the government's health care transformation agenda participating in the government's review of the Assisted Device Program as well as the Health Care Supply Chain Modernization initiative.
