A real estate developer is asking the province for help after the discovery of archaeological resources belonging to Indigenous communities on one of its sites in Hamilton.

BV Realty is planning on building a few hundred houses in a lot in Hamilton's Stoney Creek area. Fraser Macdonald and Sara Abdella, consultants with StrategyCorp Inc., registered this past week to lobby for the company to seek out "a response on the expedited review of the submitted archeological report" on 481 First Road West.
