A major performing arts company is lobbying Queen's Park about the impact of construction of a new transit line.
The Canadian Opera Company was registered to lobby this past week by David Ferguson, their general director.
The goal of the registration was to continue the client’s ongoing engagement and communication with Ontario public officer holders to inform them of the importance of ongoing support and investment in the arts and culture. The filing also mentions the under-construction Ontario Line, saying it will severely impact the location of the client’s main theatre, the Four Seasons Centre for the Performing Arts, as well as their administrative headquarters.
