A pharmaceutical firm is lobbying the province on health sector payment regulations.

AbbVie Corporation was registered by Alia Mufti and Karl Baldauf, both consultants with McMillan Vantage to discuss the Ontario Health Sector Payment Transparency Act regulations. Specifically, they sought to ensure that the regulations’ implementation achieves the Act's goal of optimal disclosure obligations with process implementation that limits increase in regulatory burden. Additionally, AbbVie wanted to talk about regulations relating to therapeutic substitution, with the goal of ensuring these regulations achieve their goal of disallowing therapeutic substitution.
