Canadian premiers are heading to Boston with a “unified front” as they prepare to meet with New England governors to push back against U.S.-imposed tariffs. Leaders from Ontario, Quebec, and all four Atlantic provinces are expected to press for trade protections and stronger economic ties during Monday’s meeting. the Canadian Press reports.

Ontario has fined a Toronto-based recruiter and ordered her companies to repay up to $150,000 in illegal fees charged to temporary foreign workers. The Ministry of Labour found that the employer broke provincial laws by charging workers for job placements at a Canadian Tire. The Globe and Mail reports.
