Premier Doug Ford says Bonnie Crombie seeking Liberal leadership while staying on as Mississauga mayor is a “slap in the face to the residents” and that she should quit while running.

Ottawa Mayor Mark Sutcliffe says he supports Liberal MPP Stephen Blais’ private member's bill that would give municipalities the authority to kick someone off city council for serious code of conduct violations. The bill will be debated this coming Tuesday in the legislature as it moves to second reading.
