Ontario Education Minister Paul Calandra has announced that the province is establishing offices within school boards for parents to escalate issues beyond their school — starting with five boards currently under supervision. The Canadian Press reports.

Ontario Premier Doug Ford's government is earmarking $210 million for municipalities to implement traffic-calming measures as its ban on speed cameras is set to take effect. CP has this one too.
