The Prime Minister's Office said Thursday that Kevin Roberts, a prominent American conservative and key architect of Project 2025, will no longer be participating in a closed-door cabinet planning session.

Roberts, who heads the Heritage Foundation and has been instrumental in shaping right-wing policy proposals in the United States, was scheduled to present to Carney’s cabinet as part of a broader discussion on Canada’s economic and security relationship with the U.S.

“Regrettably, Dr. Roberts’ office indicated that he can no longer join us to present today,” the PMO said in a statement distributed at the forum. “Our team will continue further engagement and discussions with him and other leading U.S. policy figures soon.”
