This legislation, which excludes the privately-owned Highway 407, is part of a broader set of measures in the PCs' Get It Done Act.

The Ford government says it's bringing in new legislation to ban tolls on provincial highways.

The move would prevent any tolls on the Don Valley Parkway and the Gardiner Expressway, which the province recently agreed to take over from the City of Toronto.

There are currently no tolls on these highways.
