The Ontario Liberal Party will release its long-awaited campaign debrief report next Monday, just three days before their annual general meeting (AGM) where leader Bonnie Crombie faces a leadership review.
Party spokesperson Madalyn Calzavara confirmed to QP Briefing that the long-promised report, which has been months in the making, will finally be shared with members on Sept. 8. It will offer an official post-mortem on the party’s performance in the 2025 provincial election and broader campaign strategy under Crombie’s leadership.
But with the AGM kicking off just days later, on Sept. 12, many grassroots Liberals say the report is arriving far too late to meaningfully inform delegate votes on both Crombie’s leadership and the party executive.
