Ontario's fiscal watchdog released a new report showing the provincial economy made modest progress over the first three months of 2024.
After economic growth stagnated towards the end of last year, the Financial Accountability Office (FAO) determined that available economic and employment indicators suggested a slight rebound over this year's first quarter.
From last October to December, the province saw no growth to its real GDP, which the FAO describes as the "broadest measure of economic activity," for the first time since 2022.
