On the eve of the release of the provincial budget, Dr. Andrew Park, president of the Ontario Medical Association, outlined his budget priorities: fixing the crisis in primary care, reducing the burden of unnecessary administrative work for doctors and tackling hospital overcrowding.

“The government has to commit to everybody having a family doctor, and it is crucial that this commitment is reflected in tomorrow’s budget,” Park said.

“Committing to every single Ontarian has a family would be the major priority for us.”
