Nate Erskine-Smith says he isn’t looking past Saturday.
With the Ontario Liberals heading into a closely watched nomination contest in Scarborough Southwest, the federal MP and leadership contender is projecting confidence and brushing aside concerns about internal party dynamics and questions over his local roots.
“I haven’t thought that far,” Erskine-Smith said when asked about the broader political implications of the race, including whether the party’s internal balance could shift depending on the outcome. “I’m thinking about Saturday and just all the conversations that are going to happen between now and then.”
