Mississauga Mayor Bonnie Crombie finally ready to launch bid for Ontario Liberal leadership

Mississauga Mayor Bonnie Crombie appears to be dusting off her hat in preparation of throwing it in the ring for the leadership of the Ontario Liberal party.

Although yet to formally enter the race, Crombie has formed an exploratory committee comprised of 40 Liberal MPs, MPPs and other card-carrying party members.

“She’s reached out to all of us just to seek our views,” said Dwight Duncan, a former cabinet minister under Dalton McGuinty. “There’s still an opportunity for her to not run, but I’m quite certain she will. We’re just there to offer advice.”
