Indigenous Ontario legislator Sol Mamakwa says more people need to know about the troubles faced by northern communities.

Heading into the final stretch of the fall sitting, the NDP MPP said the province's far north deserves more attention.

“I think a lot of people don’t understand what the people are about in the North, the needs we struggle with” Mamakwa said in an interview with QP Briefing.
