The Ontario Liberal leader has failed to win a seat for the second straight election.

Bonnie Crombie lost the race in Mississauga East—Cooksville to Progressive Conservative candidate Silvia Gualtieri, the mother-in-law of Brampton Mayor Patrick Brown.

Crombie, a former mayor of Mississauga, garnered 43 per cent of the vote in the riding, compared to 47 for Gualtieri.
