Ontario PC delegates welcomed Premier Doug Ford’s declaration that he intends to seek a fourth mandate at the party’s weekend convention in Etobicoke.

Ford received a standing ovation during his Saturday night speech to delegates when he said he was looking ahead to winning a “historic, fourth majority mandate.”

Many delegates who attended the convention said the Premier’s willingness to stay on as leader brings a sense of stability within the party.
