For years, both the Liberals and the NDP have recycled the same political playbook, convinced that the formulas which failed them before will somehow succeed next time.

As former Liberal cabinet minister John Milloy has observed, the problem lies in the assumption that strategies crafted for previous elections can still resonate in a rapidly changing province.
