A new national report card on housing says provinces still aren’t pulling their weight. No province earned higher than a C+ in the Task Force for Housing and Climate’s first-ever scorecard, released Thursday, ranking governments on how well they’re building homes quickly and sustainably. BNN Bloomberg reports.

Prime Minister Mark Carney is preparing to push forward on major infrastructure reform. He’ll present premiers next week with the outline of new legislation to fast-track ports, critical mineral mines, and trade corridors through a two-year national approval process. It will also aim to eliminate all federal barriers to interprovincial trade. The Globe and Mail reports.
