Premier Doug Ford is headed south with fellow premiers from the Atlantic provinces to court U.S. governors and push back against President Donald Trump’s tariffs. The mission is part of a broader campaign to defend Canadian exports and reinforce cross-border trade ties.The Star reports.

Ottawa and Queen’s Park have struck a fresh housing deal worth hundreds of millions of dollars. The agreement was finalized shortly after Ford’s new cabinet was sworn in this spring, with Prime Minister Mark Carney also being new to the position. Global News reports.
