The Ford government has picked Frontier Lithium as the first project to be designated under the province’s new “One Project, One Process” framework, which was codified into law last week.
A team with the province’s Ministry of Energy and Mines will now have the explicit mandate of supporting the company’s proposal to build a mine and processing facility in northwestern Ontario.
The “One Project, One Process” framework is the provincial equivalent of the Carney government’s Major Projects Office.
