Ford told reporters on Monday he would  “floored" if there was an early federal election, in the wake of the NDP pulling out of the supply-and-confidence agreement with the Liberals.

Did federal NDP Leader Jagmeet Singh’s decision to “rip up” the supply and confidence agreement with the Liberals affected any plans premier Ford could have about an early election call?

Ford wouldn’t say so, but political pundits said the move would be impossible to ignore.

In a press conference on Monday, Ford told reporters he would “floored" if there was an early federal election, saying that Singh made it clear that he wouldn’t risk his MP pension.
