Premier Doug Ford on Monday stood by his government's decision to close safe consumption sites within 200 meters of a school or daycare centre.
In an unrelated press conference, Ford said that he “doesn’t believe” in the facilities, which he called a “failed policy.”
“Imagine going into a place at any given time to get the drugs you want. And some sell those drugs and then they buy higher harder drugs. It's a fact, these are not made up stories,” he said.
