Ontario Premier Doug Ford called today’s meeting with the prime minister and fellow premiers “positive” but expressed disappointment about the lack of details on future infrastructure funding.
Ford and Finance Minister Peter Bethlenfalvy spoke to reporters at Queen’s Park after the late morning virtual meeting with Prime Minister Mark Carney and the premiers.
The premier said the first ministers talked about the budget and teased that an announcement on steel and softwood lumber would be coming soon.
“I thought it was a positive meeting, we talked about the budget, which was positive,” said Ford.
