Nine First Nations in Ontario are asking a court to declare Bill 5 unconstitutional, and they're seeking an injunction that would prevent the provincial government from using some of the most contentious aspects of the infrastructure bill. CP reports.

The Ontario government is also facing increased pressure from advocacy groups and opposition parties to amend its proposed legislation for dealing with misconduct on municipal councils, which critics say as a fatal flaw. Global News explains that.
