Toronto city councillor Brad Bradford is preparing for a second run at the mayor's office, with multiple senior provincial and federal sources confirming to this publication that the Ward 19 Beaches–East York representative will enter the race.
Bradford, an urban planner and two-term councillor, gained citywide recognition during the 2023 mayoral byelection with a right-leaning, tough-on-crime platform and sharp critiques of the current Mayor, Olivia Chow.
While he placed eighth with just over 9,000 votes, his campaign paved the way to make him a prominent voice of opposition to her progressive administration.
