Ontario Environment Minister Todd McCarthy is apologizing to Indigenous leaders for what he has described as "confusion" that followed a recent letter he co-wrote to the federal government advocating against the reintroduction of clean water legislation. The Canadian Press reports.

In other news, the Progressive Conservatives won this year's provincial election on Feb. 27, but nearly five months (137 days) later, Ontario Premier Doug Ford has still not finished his ministerial mandate letters. Global News has that story.
