A school boards’ association said it would be “difficult, if not nearly unworkable, for most school boards to administer the EQAO test” without teachers.

Several school boards to postpone next week’s EQAO math testing as Lecce gives them authority to do so

BRAMPTON, ON – APRIL, 8 – Carlene Powell is the school’s Numeracy Planning Time Teacher and is teaching in a grade three class.
The Ontario government is going to require all elementary schools to have at least one math-savvy teacher on staff – they call them “math lead teachers” . Eldorado Public school in Brampton hasalready has done this; hired a math specialist to teach Grades 1-3 math properly.
