Protests from public and NDP push back against historic use of notwithstanding clause

TORONTO, ON – September 12 A woman yells as she is removed from the public gallery that was cleared by security.
The Ontario Legislature was recalled so Premier Ford can ram through his reintroduced Bill 5 and override the court with the notwithstanding clause. This is the first time the clause has been used in Ontario government.
