Alex Greco is the president of the newly formed Ontario Chapter of the Public Affairs Association of Canada (PAAC). Greco, who is the policy and government relations director at Canadian Manufacturers and Exporters, and the new Ontario chapter of PAAC will advocate on behalf of those in the public affairs and government relations industry.
The chapter's executive also includes Alex Shannon of Torstar (who is the business director of this publication) as vice-president, Luca Bucci of CPA Ontario as secretary/treasurer, Sarina Reha of Crestview as events chair, Kelly Harris of Harris Public Affairs (and a QP Briefing columnist) as membership chair, and Andrea Chrysanthou of Global Public Affairs as communications chair.
‍Members at large include Beckie Codd-Downey of Canada Health Infoway, Angela Drennan of Sussex Strategy Group, Phil Gilles of the Ontario Construction Consortium, Connor Hamill of Camping in Ontario, Saad Baig of Strategy Corp, Mai Nguyen of Shaw Communications, Blair Stransky of the Healthcare of Ontario Pension Plan, and Mandy Usprech of the Ontario Energy Board.

Brian Kelcey has left the Toronto Region Board of Trade as its vice-president of policy and public affairs.
Kelcey, who was a Progressive Conservative political staffer during Mike Harris' second term as premier, was previously a special adviser to the mayor of Winnipeg. He previously also ran a consulting business focused on urban affairs.
He plans to spend more time with his young family.

QP Briefing columnist Deb Hutton is back in the Pink Palace.
The former Harris adviser has joined the office of Transportation Minister Caroline Mulroney as interim chief of staff. She plans to depart the role in early March.
Hutton's QP Briefing column is on hiatus for the time being.
Hutton replaces former Mulroney chief of staff Leif Malling, who joined the premier's office as special assistant to the chief of staff of the premier.
