The Workplace Safety and Insurance Board has a new president and CEO, for the time being. Tom Bell, formerly the chief risk officer, has been named to the top position in an interim capacity.
Former head Tom Teahen announced his resignation in October, which took effect at the end of January.

The Centennial Centre Of Science And Technology — a.k.a. the Ontario Science Centre — has a new chair. John Carmichael, chief executive officer and registrar for the Ontario Motor Vehicle Industry Council and former Conservative MP for Don Valley West, is stepping into the role.

The Home Construction Regulatory Authority is getting up and running, with its first director named. That would be former Conservative MP and MPP Terence H. Young. The non-profit organization is the new regulator responsible for new home builders and vendors.

And congratulations to Chris Benedetti and Jamie Besner who acquired full ownership of Sussex Strategy Group. Outgoing principals, Paul Pellegrini, Joseph Ragusa, and Brett James, will remain involved in various capacities.

The Tourism Industry Association of Ontario is seeking a new CEO after outgoing chief Beth Potter has moved on to the Tourism Industry Association of Canada. Potter helmed the provincial organization for about a decade.
