And Peter Deeb is out as chair of the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation, with the Toronto Sun <a href="https://torontosun.com/opinion/columnists/lilley-olg-chair-steps-aside-amid-police-probe" target="_blank" rel="noopener">reporting</a> on a potential reason why. Gail Beggs has been appointed acting chair. She was with the Ontario Public Service for three decades, including serving as deputy minister of the ministries of the Environment, Natural Resources and the Ontario Secretariat for Aboriginal Affairs.
And with the election campaign beginning in less than a year, there are some political appointments. Kory Teneycke <a href="https://ontariopc.ca/ontario-pc-party-announces-kory-teneycke-as-campaign-manager-for-2022-provincial-election/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">is back</a> as the Progressive Conservative campaign manager. Andrea Horwath's chief of staff, Michael Balagus will be the NDP campaign director, having had a major hand in recent federal and provincial campaigns.
Meanwhile, Mike Cavanaugh has been named manager of field organization for the Ontario Liberals. CBC <a href="https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/toronto/ontario-election-campaign-covid-2022-1.6007136" target="_blank" rel="noopener">reported</a> that Crestview Strategy's Christine McMillan will be campaign director.

The organization runs a fellowship program that embeds digital professionals inside governments.
Former Toronto Star journalist Richard Brennan joined Enterprise Canada, where he'll provide media training. His announcement came with a promo video featuring former premier Kathleen Wynne, former PC leader Tim Hudak and Star reporter Robert Benzie.
