Former Liberal minister Teresa Piruzza has been appointed to the University of Windsor’s board of governors. She is also the director of external affairs and public policy with Fiat Chrysler Automobiles Canada Inc.

Bradley Hammond, former press secretary to premiers Kathleen Wynne and Dalton McGuinty, is now a senior communications manager at the Nuclear Waste Management Organization. The NWMO is a not-for-profit organization set up by Canada’s nuclear power producers to manage the country’s used nuclear fuel over the long-term. Hammond had previously been at DDB Public Relations, and prior to that spent eight years at Queen’s Park, most recently as director of communications to Energy Minister Bob Chiarelli.

Elizabeth McLellan, legislative assistant and issues manager for Finance Minister Charles Sousa, is leaving for law school. “We have every expectation she will continue to serve the public good with the charisma and character that we’ve all come to know and admire,” said Sousa during Thursday’s question period.
