Ford government passes bill with notwithstanding clause to force contract on education workers

TORONTO, ON – October 31 – Ontario Education Minister Stephen Lecce walks the halls of Queen’s Parks and answers questions from the media in the Ontario Legislature.
Government introduces back to work legislation and imposes contracts on 55,000 CUPE school staff. Some speculation will also use notwithstanding clause to avoid Charter challenge.
