MISSISSAUGA, ON- DECEMBER 21 – The first doses of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine are brought into the Pandemic Response tent and prepared. Bella Rego, a Registered Nurse at Camilla Care Community a long term care facility received the first dose of vaccine at Trillium Health Partners by nurse Nasha Zaheer. Nine months and 17 days after seeing their first COVID patient Trillium Health Partners administered their first COVID-19 vaccine at their Mississauga Hospital as Ontario faces stricter restrictions to slow the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic in Mississauga.
