Hundreds of Ontario public-sector workers report they’ve experienced violence on the job

A government spokesperson said that 47.1 per cent of those who said they faced violence said it was “from an individual for whom the employee had a custodial responsibility – for instance, an inmate, offender, detainee or patient.”
